| Recipes with Organic Vodka | The Coriandrum,
Created by Alberta Straub of the Orbit Room, 1900 Market Street, San Francisco, CA
2 oz. organic vodka
¼ oz. vermouth
Splash of Coriander Nectar*
Splash of orange bitters (or orange zest)
Lemon twist
Coriander seeds
Add first four ingredients to cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake
vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a few
coriander seeds from the nectar mix and a twist of lemon, and relax.
*Coriander Nectar
1 c. whole coriander seeds
4 c. water
1¼ c. Madhava organic agave nectar (may substitute simple syrup)
Pour one cup of whole coriander seeds and four cups of water into
medium saucepan. Cook on very low heat for 30 minutes. Add agave
nectar. Cook on low for one minute and stir until blended thoroughly.
Remove from heat. Cool and store in a glass container.
